What
does hiring a wedding planner mean?
Weddings in Umbria offers customized ideas or turn-key wedding
proposals. But this is your wedding and should be planned
the way you want it planned. Therefore, we will co-ordinate
as much or as little of your wedding day activities as you
desire, always working within your ‘dream’ plan. Thanks to
a wide network of partner agencies, we are also able to help
you arrange an unforgettable wedding in Rome, Sorrento, Tuscany,
the Cinque Terre and Ireland.
How
do we work?
First of all, we will suggest you some wedding proposals for
you to choose among and customize according to your wishes
and your wedding budget. Then, we will arrange some meetings
to define details and be sure you get personalized attention
up to your wedding day All wedding items will be quoted in
Euro and will include Italian VAT (20%) as well as our commissions
(10% on total services).
How
do our staff work for you?
Our wedding planners will carry out all the stressing work
for you. They will research the appropriate locations for
both wedding ceremony and party; they will choose top professional
service providers and the most reliable and reputable vendors;
they will co-ordinate all activities and take care of all
details for you to get the best possible service.
WeddingsinUmbria’s co-ordinators are committed to upholding
high standards of professionalism. Our couples are therefore
represented fairly and honestly, while given all agreed upon
services in a timely and cost efficient manner.
What
you should know
Signing with us a contract for the services you required protect
you and us from any misunderstanding or problems. The signature
is obligatory both for Bride and Groom.
Our quotations are valid 30 days form the issuing date. An
automatic service will remind you the expiring date and you
are free to ask for additional information or reject our quotation.
Please take note that:
A. In case of previous inspection of the venues, (3
venues per day) it is required to our customers a contribution
of Euro 144,00 (Vat included) per day, for covering our working
fees. The contribution will be only refunded once the contact
will be signed. Payment will be done at the end of the inspection
directly to our staff.
B. Until confirmation and the deposit payment is received
from the client, WeddingsinUmbria does not guarantee availability
for services proposed; should they not be available for the
chosen date alternative arrangements can be made and prices
may vary. Any and all alternative arrangements must be confirmed
by the client and by WeddingsinUmbria;
C. Prices are based upon general services of high quality
with a good deal of flexibility;
D. This estimate is calculated based on information
provided by the client regarding the services to be requested
from third parties and includes organizational and administrative
costs and the costs of the services rendered;
E. In order to protect our services and our work, none
of our staff is authorised to give names of venues or suppliers
before the contract will be signed;
F. Upon written request of the client, services not
listed above can be arranged by separate estimate;
G. WeddingsinUmbria is not responsible or liable in
any way for the services rendered by third parties.
Our payments are usually received as follows:
A. We ask for a 50% non refundable deposit when you
sign the contract that we will send you to guarantee you the
service and to confirm the location and minister and basic
services you required.
B. The remaining payment is due 30 days prior to departure,
unless your departure is before, in which case the full amount
is due.
C. Should you add one or more extra services after
you sign the contract, we will then ask for a 50% non refundable
deposit if the total cost of the extras exceeds a certain
fixed amount, and the full total amount is due 30 days before
the Wedding.
D. All payments can be made by international bank transfer
(wire). All payments are made in Euros. Any extra that may
incur during your stay in Italy will need to be paid directly
to the supplier of the extra service. Methods of payments
depend on who provides the service.
You are liable:
While everything will be done to assist with paperwork, nevertheless
it remains the couple's total responsibility to ensure that
all documents as requested by the Italian, and in the case
of religious marriages by the Church authorities, are in order
and arrive within the necessary time limits as legally required.
Insurance policy:
Although you are travelling abroad, WeddingsinUmbria kindly
recommend an insurance police before leaving that cover you
for any accident may occur while you are travelling.
